Create a World of Imagination

Poets

Poetry brings joy to life. In each verse, lie layered meanings. Famous poets like John Keats, Edgar Allen Poe, Rudyard Kipling, and Oscar Wilde left behind a rich repertoire of poems that exalt life. Their poetry delves into the profundity of life. Some of these acclaimed poets were also well-known novelists ~ Kim Khurana
I love Poetry it creates a world of imagination and thought provoking twist. One of my favorite weird readings are stories written by Edgar Allan Poe. As a young teenager, Edgar Allan Poe's writings intrigued me. "And my soul from out that shadow that lies floating on the floor, Shall be lifted -- Nevermore!" Can you imagine your soul in the shadow, a shadow of yourself floating without suspension no anchor or since of direction, moving where and when the wind blows. But, then he says shall be lifted. Now I'm sure the interpretation various from person to person. But for me, shall be lifted means the weigh is off, my head no longer hangs down and I can see hope. Edgar Allan Poe's writings are dark. He seemed very depressed in my opinion but, for some reason I enjoy his writing now as I did long ago.
Writing is challenging and yet Edgar Allan Poe wrote thousands of pages many pages from his life experiences. Take this quote: Can it be fancied that Deity ever vindictively, Made in his image a manikin merely to madden it? What does this mean to you? A Deity being vindictive creating mankind to madden it? I wonder what he was thinking when writing this one? It seems very deeply rooted in perhaps madness just a thought. Perhaps he did not understand how God could create mankind and mankind turn mad in their minds without a clear picture of reality. I would love to hear your thoughts on this one.
Sound loves to revel in a summer night. Imaging writing on a summer night as you view the ski and listen to the water ripple softly back and forth. You could write  a novel. Sound loves to revel in a summer night. Revel means, a lively and noisy way. So, imagine the various sounds of summer, laughter, boats, cars music events just to name a few. Poetry a beautiful rendition of words that dance on paper from our heart and mind. Words that entertain our dreams and fantasies. People love to dream and imagine. Our minds are like a recorder registering data daily. It does not matter whether the imagines in our mind or negative or positive, our brain will still store the information. One way to rid ourselves of clutter in our brain is to write. Just like Edgar Allan Poe even if it sounds a little strange.
Happy Writing, you just may find a POET inside of you.

Can't see the Forrest through the Trees? Look for the light

Hey mom, dad lets play ball, can we go camping? Not today, I have lots of work and meetings today maybe tomorrow. I know many of us have heard  this as a child or say it now to your children. Seeing through the forest tress causes our eyes to follow that glimmer of light peaking through the leaves that flow back and forth with the wind. Sometimes in our attempt to achieve success, we get caught up in busy work and forget those precious moments with family. How many of you still eat at the table together? In today's generation families are so busy we find ourselves rushing in and out just long enough to say high and by. What has created the disconnect in families?

The happiest moments of my life have been the few which I have passed at home in the bosom of my family ~ Thomas Jefferson.

Being in the bosom of family has lots of meaning. I know there are some families that create such trouble that being in their bosom would be disastrous. But, the point is finding quality time away from the Internet, websites, and business long enough to spend time with the family and have fun. You say how does one create fun with in the family? I'm glad you asked. Here's a few examples: Board and card games, picnic no backyard the parks to far, its to cold create a park atmosphere in the home all you need is cover, floor, and your favorite foods turn the music on and spend time together. How about movie and popcorn night simply pull out favorite videos are create movies. My parents would put a sheet up in our den, check out the movie projector from our local library rent real to real movies. Mom would pop popcorn and have baked cookies for each of us. As a child we were so excited. As an adult this was a great way to save money and still have fun. Now we have Neflex, Primetime from Amazon, and Hulu.

Our generation is moving so rapidly we have forgotten how to have fun. We are distracted by social media, isolated games, phones and Ipods that there are seldom conversations going on within the family unit. There must be a check in time for families to ensure that family members are doing okay mentally and physically. Seeing through the forest trees means to stir up the families imagination, creating time to just sit relax and talk to each others.Take a moment listen to this video and run to the bosom of your family. No family take a moment and call a friend to check in.

It is such a perfect day

It is such a perfect day to begin planning for the holiday season, and as you plan remember creating a loving atmosphere begins with a simple ideas of kindness. I remember growing up with my brother, and sisters anticipating the beautiful decorations, and smells of food cooking throughout our house. It was love that filled the air. Baking and setting up the table were acts of love shared from our parents. I realize this may not be an experience for many families, so I share mind with you.
I remember walking up to the front door of my parents home delighting in the  beautiful lights that streamed Christmas songs as the lights flattered and shined. The tree decorated with its beautiful reds and gold, and hints of green throughout brought smiles to our faces. On top of the tree held a beautiful star to light the night. Our home was warm and comforting. My siblings and I knew home was a safe place to be and the holidays were very special.
I share this with you today, to encourage your planning. Many people become depressed during the Christmas season, it can be related to loss of loves one, and traumatic painful experiences. I find it important to share why we celebrate Christmas. Christians celebrate the birth of Christ, we share hope with family members and friends. Christmas is a time of sharing love hope and charity acts of kindness to those who are in need. Christ the light of the world is why we celebrate Christmas. So, decorate, open your home and share gifts but never forget the reason for the season. This year experience the love of Christ as you celebrate with family and friends. God bless you and your family.

One of the hardest things to do is to watch your loved one slowly slip away.  Learn how to adjust to personality changes. Get involved with local organizations, such as Senior Concerns, to learn typical behaviors and how to mange the disease.  Learn to communicate with an Alzheimer's patient.  Often the Alzheimer's patient remembers the past more easily than the present.  Learn to communicate on a level that is easy for the patient to understand.

Use therapeutic activities.  Music therapy, former hobbies, pets, and establishing routine can help to alleviate the stress caused by the behavior of an Alzheimer's patient.  Good health can help reduce the symptoms of Alzheimer's.  Make sure the Alzheimer's client has a good nutritional diet and gets regular exercise.

Safety is also important.  Many Alzheimer patients require supervision.  To prevents falls and injuries provide caregiver services so that the patient will not be left allow.  Providing adequate fluid to prevent dehydration.    Family support is important.  However, if you don't have family connect with your local resource center for assistance.  Care of the elderly it is our responsibility.

Giving Life a Standing Ovation-The Challenge

I challenge you to make your life a masterpiece. I challenge you to join the ranks of those people, who live what they teach, who walk their talk.
Tony Robbins

Bravo, bravo as the hands continue to clap let us give life a standing ovation. I challenge you today join the ranks of people who live what they teach, and talk.

The Challenge: Walking your talk and living life. How is this done? How do we Balance, what we do, and say? Good question the answer varies.  Beliefs, attitudes, values and customs play a performance role in what we say and do. Attitudes will paint a masterpiece, or hide the colors’ in your life.

To prepare a masterpiece get past the bad habits. Habits that were developed long time ago will destroy a masterpiece. Values and customs come in many colors. It brings unique and special tones to the designing piece. The creative wonders lie deep inside your heart and mind. Values and customs could hide the colors which desire to come out.

In nursing it is important to assess the belief system of families. It allows a nurse to assist the family in moving towards change. Often times this is challenging. Family customs, values, attitudes and behaviors can hinder outcomes. I believe it is the same in our businesses, and lives.

Making a spectacular experience that will change the course of your business is one key that will unlock a masterpiece in your life.  Behind every great masterpiece are visions, and ideas, a masterpiece in living color.  The business at hand is developing a vision that stretches your creativity.

When a masterpiece is prepared the painter gathers needed equipment, isles, paint, various sizes of paint brushes. The room is set with an atmosphere of colors. There is music that soothes the mind while the artist prepares to dazzle the world. Life develops on canvas speaking to the hearts of followers. As the artist begins he looks out an open window and captures a moment in time that would splash beautiful colors across the canvas and behold what was once a vision mingles with life in living color.

An artist speaks life into a painting, beliefs values and customs often come through a masterpiece.  The life of your business begins a vision. Speaking what you teach and walking in what you say are important. The masterpiece of ethics, character, and honesty are areas to review. It is the preparation that leverages your business. [Viral]- Marketing Gone Wild
Viral Marketing, viral advertising, or marketing buzz are buzzwords referring to marketing techniques that use pre-existing social networks to produce increase… (Wikipedia)

Nurses see viral as infectious, spreading from one host to the other and usually we provided teaching out reducing its spread. However, with viral marketing, we want it to be infectious and contagious. Viral Marketing takes unique techniques something different others would love to review further. When a commercial advertises something new, like Carl’s junior new biscuit breakfast my sons wanted to rush out right away to try it, the commercial shows this huge biscuit filled with items, deep voice saying try this new biscuit and it drew them right away.

Another example of viral marketing is the new mattress commercials with the cheetah eating and partying during work time, this commercial is going wild on the video viral scene. These are just two examples of the techniques that are used to draw people. I believe it is important to consider how you are marketing your product, what marketing buzz words you use and how you advertise your information on existing social network.

One important key, limited the amount of information on your website, make sure it is not busy it may overwhelm your visitor. Create an advertising buzzword that causes people to repeat it again

Times-And the Clock Struck 12
Hey what time is it? How many times has someone stopped you on the street and asked you for the time? This is an opportunity to asked an important question, are you late for something, you may just receive the answer you are looking for. What if the person responds like this? I’m waiting on a call I’m looking for a job? Would you be bold enough to say, wow I was just looking for a new affiliate do you have a moment?

Now I can’t say if this is the perfect game plan but it is a start in learning how to communicate with people we don’t know. Oh, I know it is easy to speak to friends and family we ramble on for times un-end explaining our business. If you are a seasoned Net-Work Marketer you will have no problem with calling. But, if you are new to this wonderful world of internet marketing it could be a little frightening.

Some helpful tips, always introduce yourself, and provide the purpose of your call. Find out what the prospect are the needs of the prospect; ask if the time you call is convenient. If the prospect has already signed up, ask him or her what made you sign up? Remember, they may have an existing business in need of expansion. In my opinion the most important helpful hints to remember don’t make the call to long, try to pin point a follow up call time, and give your link so they can review prior to the follow up call. Make you call about the prospect not about you.

I’m sure there are other helpful hints you can think of please share so learning can continue. When the clock strikes twelve what will you do?

Comics-Laughing Soothes the Soul

Has anyone asked you, why are you so serious? Everything you say is on a serious note. You are so hyped up you can’t find the time to laugh. I’m sure we all have these serious days.
Laughter is good for the soul, “Research has shown that the health benefits of laughter are far-ranging. While more studies need to be done, studies so far have shown that laughter can help relieve pain, bring greater happiness, and even increase immunity” (Scott, 2010).

“Laughter has always thought to be good medicine, but is there any truth to it? I remember the film, Patch Adam, where an older man goes to medical school and tries to put a sense of humor and some laughter in physician training. Before that, in the 1970s, Norman Cousins, a physician with an autoimmune disease decided that if stress made his illness worse maybe laughter would make it better. He watched hours of
comedy TV, got better and wrote “Anatomy of an Illness: A Patient’s Perspective” (Stibich, 2009).

Comics design shows to tickle you until you can’t stop laughing. I’m not sure if any of you have heard of George Carlin, Bernie Mack, Robin Harris, Robin William, Steve Harvey. When I face the day and times get tough put one of the comics on and what how much laughter will well up inside of you. Comics bring laughter and laughter is medicine for the soul. So laugh and keep laughing it is so much fun to laugh.

Center-Building from the center out

And I say the sacred hoop of my people was one of the many hoops that made one circle, wide as daylight and as starlight, and in the center grew one mighty flowering tree to shelter all the children of one mother and one father.
Black Elk

Our businesses improve the lifestyles of family, and leave a legacy behind. The center of our business should be filled with concept knowledge, building and growth. If you stand in a circle and place the heart of the matter in the center the others will keep you pumping. Joining forces from the center out makes you strong.
The center hoop has strong binding ties that receive knowledge, training and understanding. The exterior of the center receives needed information to improve skills, and knowledge that will nourish business growth. When the center of the circle moves outside the circle it makes room for another center that strengthens the exterior once again. The wonderful thing about working together is from the center out a beautiful flower grows covering the team with a wealth of knowledge, experience and growth a lasting concept from the center out.

Live Score-The Rank and File

    • What is your live score? The rank and file what are your scores with other people? How do others view your leadership? I believe there are three Live Scores, poor, fair, good. If you’d like excellent may be added.

Out of 0 to 10 were do you rank your communication skills, visibility, availability and follow up. It is very important to exam you style of communication are your responses to questions sounding irritated? Are you reflecting your tone of voice as I don’t want to be bothered? If you are perhaps practicing speaking in the mirror will help. Picking up the phone and just begin talking really listening to what you are saying is helpful.

Visibility is important sharing your services and products with others, providing click able links, preparing to explain all the wonderful features of your business. Rank and file this is significant I want the body of my organization to be informed well equipped after all they are the major portion of my group

Availability where are you? How many days does it take you to return a phone call, answer an email, respond to questions? Where are you? Are the members of your group lost in the world of see you later now that you’ve join? Follow up is so important, send an email, phone call, check in every now and then let the group know you are here to help and answer questions. Don’t leave your Live- rank and file in limbo after all they are the body of your organization.

Attention Live-Rank and File great job

Fresh-New Start

http://www.ibosocial.com/nursingaffliate
It is challenging for some to develop a Fresh-new start, there are those who love to carry their baggage everywhere they go. Waking up is a challenge, you sit on the side of your bed and the first thing you think of is where is my baggage. Dragging it everywhere you go, it is weighing you down but, something causes you to pull that baggage with you.

A Fresh-new start knocks open at your door and say Oh you again, and the door is slammed. To remove the stress you find your baggage. Now let us look at baggage it can be any size, small, medium or large. It fits most items inside, we fill it up and sometimes it overflows but we don’t remove its content because is a safe zone. This baggage is water proof, with a tough exterior and unbreakable. This baggage is tightly secured because after all we would not want a Fresh-new start to enter.

Ways to let go of your baggage get involve, pull a few items out at a time, replace them with a Fresh-new start, it could be in the form of a word, music, a written poem, a special note to yourself. The challenge is yours begin a Fresh new start today and watch that old tired baggage empty out a world of exploration, excitement and wonders.

It is something special about making a Fresh-new start; something happens people begin to gravitate to you, like in your business. I’m sure we’ve all had some failed ideas, bad choices and many mistakes but, what is great in the mist of our error a new fresh idea enters your heart and you run with it. For me Internet marketing is so fresh and new in my life, I can’t stop search for instruction, ideas and examples. You have to move the old baggage out of the way and start a fresh new start maintain a positive outlook and stick to your plan.

Life could be unpredictable

Life sometimes is unpredictable
The daily challenges of life could cause many of us to take a detour. The choices we make during our darkest hour may leave scars that root deeply in our minds. Life throws curve balls. With the right glove we can catch this curve, and throw a strike that will reduce its' effects.

I remember when life suddenly removed a family member from work, what a devastating curve. Loosing a job is like seeing all your dreams take flight and as its' flying away it never looks back to say goodbye. 3 years no work, less income, and the bills continued to pile up. Stacks and stacks it seemed to weigh us down with bell bars that are too heavy to lift. I quest I could have crumbled, become depressed, and feel like a failure. I had others to consider in this web of fear, hopelessness, and frustration.

Life is challenging and this roller coaster we ride brings goodness as well. We have to find the good news and hold fast to it because it gives us hope. When these 3 F's arrive at your door, packaged nicely, smelling good and offering good deals reject them. I call the 3 F's frustration, fear, and failure.

Frustration
  • Isolation and never sharing your current troubles with others
  •  angry, bitter, and being mean to others
  • prepares a pity party and inviting no one
  • making excuses and procrastinate
                                                                          Fear

  • Decisions waver
  • distorting the story
  • recalling events of the past
  • prevents you from moving forward

                                                                    Failure

  • Sadness
  • defeated
  • weary
  • troubled
  • despair
  • desperation
Life throws curves, and the roller coaster can violently shake us, but we must be immovable, strong and see past the frustration, fear and failures of life, because life also gives us another chance to change our directions.

Digging-Ditches

Digging -Ditches

If you can image your business stepping out on your own leaving current job behind what would you see? Digging ditches imagine the multitude of wholes that are dug, and they are dry, dusty and empty. You walk around them and wonder in your mind what is going on there is not rain no water, I left my job and I have nothing to show for it. Now remember you've dug these ditches way before the decision to leave. You walk for days looking in these ditches and they are still empty, no rain, just dry.

Well a cloud comes over and you get a sprinkle a few questions, a small look and just a drop enters into the ditch. You go back to the beginning re evaluate your steps and suddenly a large drop falls on your head and bounces into one of the ditches, you walk oh its nothing but it hits you again, not just a peak, a question but a response, oh boy you are happy, the water pours in the first ditch begins to rise, then it stalls, so you re evaluate you steps again, follow up on that rain and it begins to pour again and again and again until it spills over into the other ditches you dug in the beginning.

Tracing your steps and re evaluating, implementing techiniques that work bring streams of water to pour over into the next ditch. Hey ditches are good it leaves room for more water.

Thanks for stopping buy and remember dig those ditches you never know what rain will fall and spill over.
Merry Christmas

Alzheimer's Disease and Other Forms of Dementia

Dementia is the loss of mental functions -- such as thinking, memory, and reasoning -- that is severe enough to interfere with a person's daily functioning. Dementia is not a disease itself, but rather a group of symptoms that are caused by various diseases or conditions. Symptoms can also include changes in personality, mood, and behavior. In some cases, the dementia can be treated and cured because the cause is treatable. Examples of this include dementia caused by substance abuse (illicit drugs and alcohol), combinations of prescription medications, and hormone or vitamin imbalances. In some cases, although the person may appear to have dementia, a severe depression can be causing the symptoms. This is known as pseudo-dementia (false dementia) and is highly treatable. In most cases, however, a true dementia cannot be cured.

Dementia develops when the parts of the brain that are involved with learning, memory, decision-making, and language are affected by one or more of a variety of infections or diseases. The most common cause of dementia is Alzheimer'sdisease, but there are as many as 50 other known causes. Most of these causes are very rare.

Because some causes of dementia can be cured or partially treated, it is very important that your doctor is thorough when making the diagnosis, so as not to miss potentially treatable conditions. The frequency of "treatable" causes of dementia is believed to be about 20%.

What Causes Dementia?
There are several things that could cause dementia:

Diseases that cause degeneration or loss of nerve cells in the brain such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and Huntington's.
Diseases that affect blood vessels, such as stroke, which can cause a disorder known as multi-infarct dementia.
Toxic reactions, like excessive alcohol or drug use.
Nutritional deficiencies, like vitamin B12 and folate deficiency.
Infections that affect the brain and spinal cord, such as AIDS dementia complex and Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease.
Certain types of hydrocephalus, an accumulation of fluid in the brain that can result from developmental abnormalities, infections, injury, or brain tumors.
Head injury -- either a single severe head injury or longer term smaller injuries, like in boxers.
Illnesses other than in the brain, such as kidney, liver, and lung diseases, can all lead to dementia.
Alzheimer's disease causes 50% to 60% of all dementias. But researchers have found that two nervous diseases, which were originally incorrectly diagnosed as Alzheimer's, are emerging as major causes of dementia: Lewy body disease andPick's disease.

How Common Is Dementia?
Dementia caused by nervous system disease, especially Alzheimer's disease, is increasing in frequency more than most other types of dementia. Some researchers suspect that as many as half of all people over 80 years old develop Alzheimer's disease. Also, the increased incidence of AIDS dementia complex, which results from HIV infection, helps account for the increased dementia in recent history, although with the invention of newer and better drugs to treat HIV, the occurrence of AIDS-associated dementia is declining.

Alzheimer's Disease and Other Forms of Dementia
(continued)
Who Gets Dementia?
Dementia is considered a late-life disease because it tends to develop mostly in elderly people. About 5% to 8% of all people over the age of 65 have some form of dementia, and this number doubles every five years above that age. It is estimated that as many as half of people in their 80s suffer from dementia.

Which Dementias Are Treatable?
Dementia due to long-term substance abuse.
Tumors that can be removed.
Subdural hematoma, accumulation of blood beneath the outer covering of the brain is the result of a broken blood vessel, usually the result of a head injury.
Normal-pressure hydrocephalus.
Metabolic disorders, such as a vitamin B12 deficiency.
Hypothyroidism, a condition that results from an underactive thyroid.
Hypoglycemia, a condition that results from low blood sugar.

What Are Some of the Untreatable Causes of Dementia?
Alzheimer's disease.
Multi-infarct dementia (Dementia due to multiple small strokes).
Dementias associated with Parkinson's disease and similar disorders.
AIDS dementia complex.
Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD), a quickly progressing and fatal disease that consists of dementia and muscle twitching and spasm.
